Jeremiah Edward Saeger, age 29, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, surrounded by friends and family.
Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Jeremiah attended Hillwood High School, where he played football. He later earned his welding certification from Tennessee College of Applied Technology. A dedicated and skilled worker, Jeremiah had a remarkable talent for operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers and excavators, sculpting the earth with precision and artistry. He also honed his mechanical skills while working with Golden at Nashville Hydraulics, mastering hydraulic repairs and equipment maintenance.
Jeremiah was known for his enormous heart and his unwavering desire to help others. His infectious laugh, radiant smile, and warm hugs left lasting impressions on everyone he met. He found joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time on the farm or in the mountains. Winter brought him special delight-he loved driving in snow and ice and was always ready with a rope to help pull others out of ditches. True to his unique spirit, he could often be found wearing shorts and boots regardless of the weather. In his final act of generosity, Jeremiah chose to donate his organs so that others could receive the gift of life-a reflection of his deeply giving nature.
Jeremiah was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Booty” Saeger; Uncle Shane Saeger; and Granny Judy.
He is survived by the love of his life, Maddie Dyson; his momma, Amy (David) Reha; cousin Caleb Saeger; brothers Ryan Licquia, Stephen (Shannon) Reha, and Joshua Reha; grandparents Bob and Cindy Ehresman; as well as many aunts, nieces, cousins, and friends who cherished him like family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 20, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Pegram Community Club at the Depot, 453 Thompson Rd., Pegram, TN 37143. Jeremiah’s memory will forever bring comfort to those who knew him. https://www.nashvillecremationcenter.com
