OBITUARY: Jeff Parker

Mr. Jeff Parker, age 64 of Elmwood, died Sunday evening, October 5 at Riverview Regional in Carthage. He is survived by:

• wife, Karla Parker;
• 2 children, Tristan Parker and wife Samantha of Cookeville, Tara Parker of Knoxville;
• 2 step-sons, Dustin Thackxton of Elmwood, Johnny Ray Thackxton of Elmwood;
• mother, Gail Parker of New Middleton;
• sister, Lori Culwell and husband Tony of Smithville;
• 2 brothers, John Parker of New Middleton, Jimmy Parker and wife Jennifer of New Middleton;
• 1 grandchild, Brady Klien Reid Parker;
• 1 step-grandchild, Hunter Ray Thackxton.

Mr. Parker is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Thursday morning, October 9 at 11:00 AM. Bro. Floyd Massey will officiate. Interment in the Brush Creek Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Jonathan Parker, Dillon Parker, Joe Silcox, Kelly Silcox, Pete Holland, Terry Presley.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.

The family has requested memorials to the Jordan Hackett Foundation.
