Jan Sullivan Crossno – Age 74 of Chapel Hill, TN. May 28, 2025.
Preceded in death by father, Edward Robert Sullivan and mother, Dorothy Wills Sullivan Woodroof.
Survived by husband of 39 years, Dale Crossno; children, Michele (Todd) Chester, Nicki (Jimmy) White, Kirk Dorton, Jessica (Steven) Hute, Joshua (Deborah) Crossno and Clint (Amanda) Crossno; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, June Timmons; and brothers, Buddy Sullivan and Robert Sullivan.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (visitation 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road.
Jan retired from General Mills in Murfreesboro after 17 years as a machine operator.
A Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, she was the heart and foundation of her family. She was the caregiver to everyone and made sure everyone was taken care of by taking them to doctor appointments or sitting with them at the hospital.
Besides her family she was passionate about crafting with a particular talent for embroidery and quilting.
Jan was a 1969 Graduate of Glencliff High School where she was a majorette and loved staying in touch with classmates and frequently went to alumni lunches.
She loved animals and personally called everyone on their birthday and sang Happy Birthday to them. She always had extra presents at Christmas in case someone showed up last minute. She did not want anyone to go without a present.
