James Thomas Hambrick, age 73, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.
He leaves behind a devoted and loving wife, Doris G. Hambrick; children, Andrea, Monya, and Britney Hambrick; grandchildren, Issac, Andre Hambrick, Tia and Jeffrey Leonard, and Amora Edmonds; sibling, Robert “Red” Hambrick; nieces, Tawansie, Wanda, Courtney, Lavetta, Lashundra, Karena, and Kim; nephews, Jeffrey and Robert Jr.; cousins, Nancy Kendrick (Othe Kendrick): a host of brother and sister-in laws with a special friendship to Gary Williams.
Preceded in death Sol and Rena Hambrick, William “Teddy” Shelton, and Sol Hambrick Jr. James was a man of immense compassion, and love. James was always there as a provider and pillar of strength for his family; he loved his family deeply.
