Herman Lee Poe Jr., Age 60, of Nashville, TN, passed away on December 13, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Herman Lee Poe Sr, and his mother, Fredia Mae Poe.
Survived by daughters, Briana Nicole Poe and Taylor Alexis Poe; and one grandson, Braydence Jagar-Knox Poe; aunts, Ruby Westbrook and Barbara Ann Jones; uncle, cousins, fraternity brothers and a host of friends.
He worked as a contract specialist with DSCC in Columbus, Ohio until his retirement in 2024. He attended Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio and volunteered with their food pantry. He was a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity Incorporated. He was an avid sports fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Dallas Cowboys and the Columbus Crew SC. He graduated from Glenn High School in 1984 in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his BA in business administration degree from Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama and his MBA from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio.
