Larry Jr was educated in public schools of Nashville, TN. He was employed as a construction worker before being put on disability in 2003. He loved to play video games, listen to music, was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, and loved to go fishing. Larry Jr loved food, especially fried chicken.
Survived by devoted father, Herbert (Charlotte) Phillips Sr; devoted mother, Mildred Merritt; devoted sister, Pamela (Kevin) Prymer; stepsister, Dr. Tracy Walls; son, Kenneth Mason; loving aunts, Belinda McLin and Peggy Parrish; loving and devoted friend Heather Lovett; and other family and friends.
