Helen was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Howard Paul Thompson and Ima Bell Thompson; her sisters, Martha Ruth Reilly and Dorothy “Dot” Norris; and her brothers, Edwin “Buddy” Thompson, Howard Thompson Jr., and James “Donnie” Thompson Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children: Charles “Chuck” Farrell (Karin), Laura “Lolly” Gerami (Mike), Vicky Giro (Dan), Lee Ann Wright (Jason), and Lisa Gonzalez (Scott).
Helen was a proud and loving grandmother to Holly Simon (James), Travis Huskisson (Jeannie), Crystal Farrell (Jahswill), Ashley Batdorff (Matt), Johnathan Farrell (Megan), Brian Gerami, Christina Crawford (Larry), Stephen Huskisson, Chelsea Gerami, Jason Farrell (Tara), Jessica Faulk (Dustin), Chris Farrell, Anna Jean, Richard Giro, Anna Giro, Katrina Noah (Ray) and Skyler Knight.
She was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren, Bethany, Clara, Everyn, Lily, Nathan, JT, Ryder, Charlee, Blakely, Jasmine (JJ), Porter and Sienna.
Helen is additionally survived by her sisters Vita O’Brien, Patsy Tonubbee, and Robbie Person (Jack); her brothers Kenneth Thompson and Richard Roberts (Sandy); along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Helen had a deep and abiding love for God and an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. She cherished her family above all else and found great joy in spending time with them. She also dearly loved her dog, Angel, and had a special compassion for animals. Helen took pride in her work and was known for her outstanding work ethic, genuine kindness, caring spirit, and remarkable generosity. Helping others and meeting new people brought her great fulfillment.
Family time was her greatest pleasure, and her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
She left a trail of beautiful memories and will forever be in our hearts.
