Harvey “Burke” Mahling, 80, of Nashville, TN, passed away October 21, 2024.
He was a past member of the American Legion Post 88, member of Scottsboro Church of Christ and was Owner and “King of the Hill” of Windy Hills Farm.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Buford “Slick” & Sue Vester and parents, Robert “Bob” & Catherine Ozment.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judie Mahling; son, R. Burke (Karen) Mahling; daughters, Kim (Rob) Mahling Milam and Kelly (Brad) Mahling Goodman; grandchildren, Brighton (David) Castleman, Hayden Hollingsworth, Landon Goodman, Trey Milam, Anna Claire Milam, Avery Mahling, Gloria Mahling, Mattie Mahling and Mabel Mahling.
Visitation will be at his church. Scottsboro Church of Christ, 5156 Ashland City Hwy, Nashville, TN 37218, both Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, October 25, 2024, from 10:00 am until Service time at 12:00 pm with John Temple officiating. His grandson, Hayden Hollingsworth will also speak. Active pallbearers will be Rob Milam, Trey Milam, Brad Goodman, Hayden Hollingsworth, Landon Goodman & David Castleman.
