OBITUARY: Gerry Anderson (Mee-Maw)

Mrs. Gerry (Mee-Maw) Anderson, age 93 of Granville, died Friday afternoon, May 2 at Sumner High-Point Health in Gallatin.

She is survived by:

• daughter, Judith Apple and husband Jimmy of Chestnut Mound;
• 3 grandchildren, Denise Hackett and husband Michael of Hartsville, Scott Apple and wife Barbie of Chestnut Mound, Kim Gregory and husband Steven of the Graveltown Community;
• 7 great-grandchildren, Seth Hackett and wife Rachel of Hartsville, Brittany Prince and husband Jim of Ft. Walton Beach, Alexandra Hackett and fiancée Tyler Prevec of Gordonsville, Maggie Jo Apple and fiancée Levi Halliburton of Chestnut Mound, Owen Gregory of the Graveltown Community, Delaney Gregory of the Graveltown Community, Marshall Apple of Chestnut Mound;
• 2 great-great-grandchildren, Eleanor Prince and one to be born in June, Beau Anderson Hackett.

Mrs. Anderson is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her visitation will begin on Sunday afternoon, May 4 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Family and Friends will meet on Monday, May 5 at 3:00 PM at the John L. Clark for Graveside Service and Interment. Roy Johnson will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers are: Scott Apple, Seth Hackett, Owen Gregory, Tyler Prevec, Steven Gregory, Marshall Apple.

The family has requested memorials to the Jordan Hackett Foundation.
