George Burton “Pete” Dugger, Jr., of Joelton, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Dugger was born June 11, 1939, in Joelton, to the late George Burton and Emma Lou Pentecost Dugger, Sr.

He was a retired drywall finisher and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Dugger enjoyed fishing, Drag Car racing, hunting ginseng, and raising a vegetable garden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Carolyn Heatherly Dugger, by his grandson: Daniel Burton Dugger, Jr., and by his sister: Donie Dugger Beal.

Mr. Dugger is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Theresa and Jimmy Reynolds of Greenbrier, by his son and daughter-in-law: Daniel Burton and Stephannie Dugger of Springfield, by his grandchildren: Heather Reynolds, Richard Cohea, III, Dallas Reynolds, Laurie Jones, Carol Dugger, and Jacob Lindsay, by his four great-grandchildren and soon to be 5th great grandchild arriving the end of April.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 22nd at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Hubert Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Sharon Cemetery with Brian Elam, Travis Duffer, Tony Heatherly, Benton Cohea, Jason Ronnow, and Josh Beal serving as pallbearers.
