Mr. Franz ‘Hoho’ Dwain Larkin of Old Hickory, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, he was 84 years old.

He loved to sing and was a karaoke legend, singing “I Don’t Need Your Rockin’ Chair” every chance he got. Needless to say, he was always the life of everyone’s party.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Irene Larkin; brother, Ronnie Larkin; his beloved, Gloria; brother-in-law, Ken Shute; and his niece, Jill Crowley.

He is survived by his daughter, Jackie Lynne (Phillip) McCoy; grandchildren, Phillip Jr., Alex, and Jaxson; great-grandson, Ezra; sisters, Nancy (Tim) Crowley and Jackie Shute; niece, Tammy (Allen) Sykes; nephews, Matthew (Jill) Crowley, Daniel Crowley, and Tim Shute; his beloved Scott family.

Visitation will be at Phillips-Robinson Hadley Chapel, 1700 Hadley Ave., in Old Hickory from 1 pm to 8 pm on Sunday, March 20, and again on Monday, March 21, from 10 am-12 pm. https://www.phillipsrobinson.com The service will be at 12pm in our chapel. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow at Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN, 37221, at 2 pm. There will not be a precession to the cemetery, please arrive at 1:45 pm and meet at the gazebo. After the committal ceremony, no one will be allowed to view the burial as is the policy of the cemetery.
