Elizabeth Marie Craighead, age 75 of Crossville passed peacefully at Good Samaritan Society – Fairfield Glade on April 13, 2025.
She would be described by all that knew her as a very loyal and competitive wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, Nonny or friend.
Preceded in death by husband James Craighead, sisters Sandra Tucker (Ronny) and Barbara Hutchison and parents Bruce and Helen Hutchison.
She is survived by sons John Cook (Michelle) and Bruce Cook (Amber), 8 grandchildren that she loved “to the moon and back”; Jonathon Cook (Amber), Kristopher Cook, Zachary Cook (Claire), Aaron Cook, Morgan Dulaney (Drew), Kaitlyn Pryor (Abram), Jacob and Jeremiah Tucker and 8 Great Grandchildren.
A true Native Nashvillian, Marie was born in Nashville on December 30, 1949 at Baptist Hospital. She was a graduate of Glencliff High. She was very proud of her many years of work with husband James Craighead and Labor Unions. She loved family, board and card games, puzzles and concerts/musicals, especially those with her son Bruce or Grandchildren Zach (Claire) or Aaron. She also loved getting to spend time with her great grandchildren and watching them in their activities.
