Elaine Greer passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.
She worked at Baptist Hospital as a nurse technician for 25 years. She enjoyed singing and traveling. She was an amazing mom. Elaine was a loving and forgiving soul. She had a positive, cheerful outlook on life and even at death.
Born in Big Sandy, TN, she spent her adult life in the Nashville area and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Grady Greer; grandson, Joshua Bastoky; and 6 siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Glenda (Rick) Polk, Rhonda Bastoky, Candace (Chris Andrews) McFarlin; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Dennison.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Park with a reception to follow at the funeral home in the Music City Suite.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro in Elaine’s honor.
