Dr. Melissa Thorne-Smith, 45, of Nashville, passed away April 12, 2025.
Melissa was an amazing wife, friend, and therapist. She loved helping her clients, loving on her puppies, and every other puppy she met, and charities that helped puppies. Melissa loved to travel and read as many books as she could. She loved listening and singing to music, silly jokes, and making those around her and herself laugh. She was a beautiful angel to so many people, always being there to help at your worst times, giving you kind words and a shoulder to lean on.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eric Smith; and loving sister, Nikki Bagwell-Tovar.
