Dolores May Williams Ashbery, age 95, currently of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away on January 8, 2026. She was born on August 2, 1930, in Wisconsin. Dolores was the eldest of eleven children born to Otto Olsen Williams and Elmira Beyers Williams.
Shortly after her birth, her parents relocated from Wisconsin to Buffalo, NY. Dolores remained in western New York until 1981 when she and her husband relocated to Cleburne County, Arkansas. She resided in Arkansas until 2019 when she joined her daughter in Franklin, Tennessee.
In 1954, Dolores married Kenneth Ashbery. Together they raised a family of 5 children: John (Kathy) Ashbery, Barbara (Phillip) Cook, Gail (Matthew) Mayo, David Ashbery, and Wayne (Ayse) Ashbery.
In addition to her 5 children, Dolores is survived by five of her siblings, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, parents, five siblings and one grandchild.
