Celebrating the life of Destiny Christian-Rose Hopper. She graduated from Lincoln Academy in April of 2013. Destiny went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2025.
Destiny had a way of cutting through the issues to solve a problem. She was a gentle soul who always looked for the good in others. She lit up every room with her presence. She was a beloved widow, mother, aunt, cousin and daughter. She was an independent stylist, constantly striving to make the world a better place. Her being on earth made a positive difference in the world.
Destiny is survived by 2 sons, Sterling Thomas Hopper-Adkisson and one adopted son; mother, Terri Adkisson and step-dad, Rocky Adkisson; grandparents, Tom and Martha Hopper; aunts and uncles; Jerry and Gena Cathy, Rhonda and Wyler, Dana and Montgomery, Diane Hanes, George and Charity Hanes. Closest cousins, Michael and Brittany Cathy, Darian Bryce Hanes, Cierra Brassell, Megan and John Gann; along with many other beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Destiny was preceded in death by grandparents, Nona Elizabeth Yates and George Hanes; great-grandparents, Jances Otis and Malverie Mae Spencer, Jennie Mae and Mencer; great aunts and uncles, Dale and Darris Hopper, (Deanna and David Hopper), Joe and Carol Hopper, (Jennifer and Corey Wanamaker, Robert and Anna Hopper), Anthony and Melinda Hopper, (Sara and Colee Hopper); along with many other cherished loved ones.
