Dennis John McDade, age 74, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and deep devotion to family. Dennis was born on March 20, 1951, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Arthur J. McDade and Eleanor (Lynch) McDade.

A proud Nashville native, he graduated from Father Ryan High School in 1969 and later attended Columbia State Community College.

On May 24, 1975, Dennis married the love of his life, Rebecca Cobb, beginning a marriage rooted in partnership, laughter, and unwavering support. Together they built a life centered on family and shared values.

Dennis was self-employed and the owner of McDade Environmental, LLC, where his strong work ethic and determination reflected the same dedication, he showed in every part of his life. He also honorably served as a former member of the National Guard.

Known for his adventurous spirit, Dennis was brave, generous, charming, and deeply devoted to those he loved. He was a true family man and an animal lover, especially fond of his dog, Pepper. An outdoor enthusiast, Dennis found joy in nature and could often be found with a guitar in hand, sharing his love of music with those around him.

Dennis is survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca McDade; his daughters, Mallory McDade and Molly McDade; his grandchildren, Tyler McDade, Brody Nipper, and Emmy Nipper; and his siblings, Pat (Ted) Chapman and Arthur “Butch” (Lila) McDade Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur J. and Eleanor McDade, and his beloved son, Nathan McDade.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 28, from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m., at 1317 Hilldreth Drive, Nashville, Tennessee (weather permitting). https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/nashville-tn

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dennis’s memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation at Parkinson.org.

Dennis will be remembered for his adventurous heart, steady presence, and the love he poured into his family and friends. His legacy lives on in every life he touched.
