On December 4, 1981, David married the love of his life, Patricia Bennett. Their union was one of deep friendship, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they built a family grounded in love and strength.
He was the proud father of Timika Simpson and LaToya Brown (Kenneth Brown, deceased), and the beloved “Paw Paw” to his cherished grandchildren Kenneth Brown II affectionately known as “Ah Ah Man,” and Kensington Brown, lovingly called “Ken Poo.”
David was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Verdell Bennett, his brother Michael Bennett, and his son-in-law Kenneth Brown. He leaves behind his devoted brothers Mark Bennett and Christopher Bennett, beloved Aunt Helen & Aunt Linda Gibson, and a host of in-laws, cousins, extended family, and friends whose lives were all made richer by knowing him.
