Cheryl Fisher Fields, age 76, of Prosper, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025.
Cheryl was born on March 10, 1949, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Doris E. Fisher and Charles N. Fisher. She graduated from David Lipscomb High School and attended David Lipscomb College.
A devoted homemaker, Cheryl’s greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She was known for her kind, loving, and generous spirit. Cheryl was also funny, spontaneous, and a true free spirit. She had a zest for life that touched everyone who knew her.
Cheryl loved to travel, read, bake (especially sweets), cook, and host parties for family and friends. She also had a deep love for basketball—both playing and watching the game brought her joy. She was a faithful member of Rock Hill Church of Christ.
Cheryl is survived by her children: Lisa Michelle Fields, Jennifer Nicole Fields, and Charles Jeffrey Fields (Yolanda); her grandsons, Ronald Ford and Jackson Garrett Fields; her brother, Dwight Fisher; her nephews, David Fisher (Angel) and Brian Fisher (Mandie); and many beloved great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Allison Eleanor Fields.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday, October 14th, at 10:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, located at 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/nashville-tn
