It is with a heavy heart that we announce the recent passing of Mrs. Carole Franklin Gammon. Mrs. Carole spent 81 beautiful years in Nashville, Tennessee where she built a life she loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Franklin Gammon and Neoma L. McKnight; three siblings, Junior Adams, Dorothy Tidwell, and Lois Epps.
Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Ricky Jarrett (Laura), Joey Dotson (Lorie), and Scott Slaughter (Janice); grandchildren, Dillion, Kristin, Mikey, Stone, Tommi Lynn, Sara, Emily, Tim, Cedric, John, and Amber; and several great-grandchildren.
She spent many of her working years as a dispatcher for the Nashville area, but in her free time she enjoyed reading, hand-crafting jewelry, spending time in the kitchen where she perfected many soulful recipes, treasure hunting at thrift stores, and most importantly spending time with her loving family.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find peace in the lasting legacy of love and cherished memories that she bestowed upon us.
“They say love is more precious than gold. It can’t be bought and it can’t be sold. I’ve got love, enough to spare. That makes me a millionaire”.
Spring Hill Funeral Home has been entrusted with final arrangements.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
