Bobby Lee Cason, age 62, passed away July 17, 2026 after fighting a long battle. He left behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love, kindness and laughter. Bobby never met a stranger. Whether you knew him for five minutes or fifty years, he could strike up a conversation and make you feel like an old friend.
He was known for his stories and tall tales that brought smiles and laughter to those around him.
An avid fisherman and hunter. Some of his happiest moments were with a fishing rod in hand or sitting in the woods, waiting for deer. Bobby also devoted his time to coaching Little League baseball, where he cared deeply for every player on his team. To the children he coached, he was more than a coach – he was a mentor and friend. Above all else Bobby was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a very proud grandfather. His granddaughters were the light of his life, as well as his 3 Chihuahua’s that never left his side. He put family first, making sure everyone he loved was cared for. Bobby will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
Preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Cason; father, James Earl Cason; sister, Barbara Levinson. Bobby is survived by his wife, Bonnie Cason; sons, Bobby Cason and Jeremiah Hartley; granddaughters, Loren St Lawrence and Autumn Hartley; sister, Terri Cason; and his 3 faithful companions, Tilly, Taz and Ty.
