Billy Joe Denton Sr. of Nashville, Tennessee passed away Sunday, June 22 at the age of 75. He was proceeded in death by his father L.D. Denton and his mother Mattie Denton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Shelia Denton, his sister Renee McKinney, his sons Billy (Teresa) Denton Jr., Jerry (Melonie) Denton Sr., Terry (Marie) Denton, his grandchildren Zack Goss-Denton, Brianna Denton, Jerry Denton Jr., Joel Denton, Jared Denton, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many amazing friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th from 4pm-8pm and again Thursday, June 26th from 9 am until the hour of service at 12 noon at Ellis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
