Betty-Myrl-Story

Betty Myrl Story was born 5/25/1930 in Stonege, Virginia (Richmond). She loved the Lord her Savior with all her heart, and she wouldn’t hesitate to tell everyone about Him. She spoke in the life of so many. If you had the privilege to know her then your life was truly blessed.

She was one of the hardest working people you could ever meet – dedicated, driven and always pushing forward no matter what life threw her way. But beyond her determination, she had this incredible lightness about her. She was silly, goofy and never took herself too seriously. She could make a room burst into laughter in an instant and was always the life of the party.

Most of all she was unapologetically herself – bold, beautiful and never afraid to stand out or speak her truth. Her family was by far her most valued treasure and meant everything to her. She had a special way of showing her love – never hesitating to get down on the floor to play with her grandkids, fully present in every moment. Her warmth, joy, and devotion will be deeply missed.
