Betty Ann Hadley passed away on May 19, 2024.

Betty was born on August 26, 1926. The daughter of the late Albert Livingston “Bert” and Lois Meguiar Hadley. She was reared at the family homeplace, “Broadmoor” on Gallatin Rd., and graduated from Isaac Litton High School and Peabody College. She then did her graduate work at the University of New Hampshire and U.T. in Nashville.

She taught here in Nashville at Amqui Elementary, Goodlettsville High School, and Litton Junior High School as a Home Economics Teacher and Guidance Counselor. After she retired from teaching, she conducted Estate Sales for several years.

Betty was a member and elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of Centennial Club, Cheekwood and the Ladies Hermitage Association.

She was preceded in death by her only brother, Albert Hadley, of New York City.

She is survived by her two loving caregivers, Becky Holbrooks and Clarette Ridley; And her God-daughter, Sarah Fleming.
