Ann Miller, age 73, passed away on September 9, 2021 in Nashville, TN.
She was born October 29, 1947 to the late Stanley and Loretta Pawlowski, in Detroit, MI.
Ann is survived by her husband of 52 years, Geoff Miller, her daughters JC Fischer and Stephanie Lord, her son-in-law Tom Lord, her grandchildren Acadia Fischer, Miller, and Celeste Lord; sisters Mary “Sis” Parzych and Elizabeth “Betsy” Lewandowski, as well as many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and valued friends.
Ann was the heart of her family. She loved to be together for a meal and to support her children, and her grandchildren, at their games and events. Ann was kind and generous; she was a cherished friend of many neighborhood children while she waited for her own grandchildren to arrive. Ann found great satisfaction in planning and delivering an enjoyable gathering; she did this by creating beautiful homes for her family in Sterling Heights, MI, Palatine, IL, Brentwood, TN, Collierville, TN, and finally in Franklin, TN. Creative and fun lesson plans for her students during her 20+ years as a teacher, unique excursions for her day tripper club, curating a list of great books to recommend, crafting thoughtful cards “with glitter” for special occasions and the antics of her dogs brought her joy. Ann knew how to have fun and she shared that gift with others.
