Arlene J. Maples, age 93, went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2024. Arlene was born July 2, 1931, in Oakland, Illinois, but lived in Nashville, Tennessee.
Arlene is survived by sons Kevin Maples and Loren (Carrie) Maples and daughter Rolena Maples, six grandchildren, Melissa (Justin) Glor, Krista (Josh) Odum, Casey (Travis) Spaw, Mike, Justin (Jenny), Kayla (Billy), Angel Frazier (Randy), and 18 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Robert Maples, parents, Arlyn and Avis Honn, Sisters Cherly Honn, Freda Lynch, and brother, Rex Hon.
Arlene was a member of the Frist Church in West Nashville for 54 years. She loved her church and when she wasn’t able to go she watched church on tv all day and listened to music.
