Nashville Electric Service (NES) crews are still working Saturday morning to restore power to thousands of its customers. Over 40,000 customers are still without power Saturday morning, many lost power in the early afternoon hours on Friday. NES reports that 12 Engineering Teams are working to fix 52 broken power poles. NES said Hendersonville and Bellevue have the largest number outages on Saturday morning, but other hard hit areas include Cane Ridge and the Davidson Road area, Brick Church Pike area, East Nashville and the White Bridge Road/Belle Meade area.
#UPDATE NES crews worked through the night and restored power to 73,000 customers. At this hour, 42,000 still remain without power, and crews will keep working around the clock until every customer is restored.
