Nashville Man Killed, Son Injured in Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Press Release From Metro Nashville Police Department:

The motorcyclist killed in Thursday’s 5:30 p.m. single-vehicle crash on Sulpher Creek Road at Taz Hyde Road is identified as Theron Lacy, 49, of Nashville.

Lacy was riding his 3-wheeled Ryker Can-Am Trike motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and struck a metal guardrail. Lacy and his 12-year-old son/passenger were thrown from the motorcycle.

Theron Lacy was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he died. His son was transported to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
