Police say speeding appears to be a contributing factor in Saturday night’s single-car fatal crash in front of 2900 Lebanon Pike.
Gage Richard Scragg, 21, was traveling west on Lebanon Pike in his 2006 Honda Accord at 11:45 p.m. when he lost control and left the right side of the roadway. The vehicle rolled and struck a tree.
Scragg, of Nashville, died at the scene.
He was not wearing a seatbelt.
