Drivers traveling near Nashville International Airport should prepare for temporary traffic impacts as improvement work gets underway along Donelson Pike.
Airport officials announced single-lane closures will affect portions of the northbound right-hand lane of Donelson Pike beginning Tuesday, May 12, as part of ongoing maintenance and improvement efforts at the airport, also known as BNA.
The closures are connected to work focused on maintaining and improving taxiways adjacent to Donelson Pike.
According to officials, the lane closures will take place on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are expected to continue through Friday, May 22, with all work scheduled to be completed by 3 p.m. that day.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution, watch for traffic management measures and follow posted signage throughout the construction zone.
