Lainey Wilson took the stage Tuesday night to celebrate the official Grand Opening of her new bar, Bell Bottoms Up, located just off Lower Broadway at 120 Third Avenue South. Wilson’s Bell Bottoms Up made its debut in Music City in late May with a surprise opening just ahead of CMA Fest. During that weekend, the prolific singer-songwriter hosted an eight-hour meet-and-greet with fans and has since made several appearances at the venue. Most recently, she hosted an ACM Honors After-Party at Bell Bottoms Up after receiving the prestigious Triple-Crown and Milestone ACM Awards.
The Grand Opening event included Wilson cutting the venue ribbon surrounded by onlooking fans, followed by her surprise show-stopping performance on the rooftop stage with a setlist featuring multiple hits including Watermelon Moonshine, Heart like a Truck, 4x4xU, and Hang Tight Honey, the latest chart-climbing hit off her acclaimed new album, Whirlwind. The night also featured a sneak peak of Wilson’s forthcoming collaboration with the legendary denim brand Wrangler, with select signature looks from the collection, launching Sept. 25, on display. The evening’s VIP guest list included fellow Country Music stars, industry professionals, Nashville City Officials, and DJs.
The 27,000-square-foot venue has two stages with four bars total. The mezzanine level features a lounge space called Neon Diamonds that overlooks the first-floor stage and dining area. The rooftop level features a ’70s-style Western aesthetic including a lively dancefloor, disco-inspired décor, and frozen daquiri cocktails.
“Bell Bottoms Up is a dream come true,” Wilson said. “Every time I’m in Nashville it’s where I want to be, because it’s a place my ‘Wild Horses’ can call home. I’m living my own honky-tonk dream, and to celebrate the opening of a honky-tonk of my own is truly something special. I hope to see y’all there soon!”
The three-story entertainment destination is filled with Wilson’s signature flair and features several framed outfits from her top performances. The Cajun-inspired food menu includes entrees and bar bites that pay homage to Wilson’s Louisiana upbringing. Next door is Bayou Keys, Nashville’s newest dueling piano bar, which is also a nod to Wilson’s Louisiana roots and the place where dueling pianos first began, New Orleans.
Bell Bottoms Up and Bayou Keys are owned and operated by TC Restaurant Group, which serves as the leading operator and partner for dining and entertainment venues in Downtown Nashville.
