The nonprofit Friends of Green Hills Park is delighted to invite the community to the upcoming, free Green Hills Park Festival, presented by Bob Freeman for State Representative. The Festival will take place at Green Hills Park, located at 1200 Lone Oak Road, on Saturday, September 7, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Produced with community engagement in mind, Green Hills Park Festival raises money for future park improvements and brings together local businesses and residents in an interactive, festive environment.
Activities include:
● Shop the Children’s Entrepreneur Market
● Grab a bite from local food trucks
● Dance with the live band Incognito Cartel
● Run the obstacle course
● Stick around for a family movie – showing Shrek
Green Hills Park Festival is organized by Friends of Green Hills Park, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to improving our neighborhood park. Festival proceeds go straight toward park improvements, such as exercise equipment and a new water fountain. Come by the Friends’ booth to talk about park improvements you’d like and chip in to make them happen.
