Winter Storm Fern is believed to have contributed to five deaths in Davidson County, according to Nashville Office of Emergency Management (OEM), as the region continues to recover from last week’s severe winter weather.
Those who died have been identified as Betty Doss, 79; Francis Pilkington, 93; Sharon Conyers, 46; Almaquio Martinez Olivera, 39; and James H. Mitchell, 92.
Officials said causes of death in all five cases are pending findings from the Medical Examiner.
Metro Nashville departments continue recovery efforts following the storm, including restoring power to thousands of residents and supporting community response operations.
