UPDATE: Ke’asia Franklin, 21, has been identified as the driver killed in Saturday morning’s crash on Dickerson Pike.
One person was killed and another was injured during a crash on April 8, 2023, according to WSMV.
It happened around 4:30 a.m. on Dickerson Pike at Dellway Villa when a driver was driving southbound at a high rate of speed on Dickerson Pike, according to Metro Police.
Police say the vehicle then went into the opposite lane of traffic, left the roadway and crashed into a utility pole.
The 21-year-old driver was pronounced dead at scene. Their identity has not been released.
Another person was injured in the crash. They are expected to be okay
