The driver killed in Sunday’s 12:30 a.m. single-vehicle crash in the 3800 block of Dickerson Pike is tentatively identified as Jaylen Breveard, 17, of Nashville.
The preliminary investigation indicates that he was driving a Tesla 3 south on Dickerson Pike when he lost control of the vehicle which then crossed all lanes of traffic, struck a concrete pole, and overturned. He was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
He was wearing his seatbelt and there were no signs of impairment.
