A body was recovered from the Cumberland River on Monday afternoon, WSMV reports.
Metro Nashville Police responded to the area of Riverfront Park near the downtown boat dock around 12pm after a 911 caller spotted the body.
The Medical Examiner will determine both the identity of the deceased and the cause of death through an autopsy, which is still pending.
The investigation is ongoing.
