December 2, 2024 – Lebanon Police were alerted to a stolen U-Haul out of Nashville over the weekend.
Officers quickly located the vehicle parked at the Speedway gas station on N. Cumberland and found one female passenger and soon learned that the driver had went into the store and then fled once officers arrived. A short while later, a subject matching the description of the driver was located in the vicinity of the area.
Officers were able to confirm the identity of the driver who was was subsequently charged with theft of property and driving on a suspended license. The female passenger also had a warrant out of Sumner county.
Both were taken into custody without further incident.
