Located in the former MAFIAoza’s building facing Franklin Road, the new store will bring together Anthropologie, Anthropologie Weddings, and Terrain under one roof.
Anthropologie will occupy the ground floor, featuring exposed ceilings, warm oak flooring and custom plaster finishes throughout the space. The second floor will be home to Anthropologie Weddings, with three intimate bridal salons tucked into the building’s upper level.
The first in Tennessee, Terrain, Anthropologie’s home and garden brand, will be located at the rear of the building in a glass-enclosed retail space surrounded by an open deck and a lower-level patio. The shop will offer home décor, seasonal plants, garden essentials and outdoor living accessories.
“We could not be more thrilled to bring this new Anthropologie experience to Franklin and the vibrant community there,” said Mindy Massey, Global Executive Director of Retail at Anthropologie in a release. “This location is truly special, from its rich historical architecture to the unique blend of our apparel and home offerings, wedding designs, and immersive Terrain shop.”
Anthropologie Weddings will offer private appointments where brides can shop a curated selection of wedding gowns, rehearsal dinner looks, bridesmaid dresses and accessories with help from personal stylists.
Opening day festivities on Friday, August 14, will include a branded coffee cart and complimentary bouquet bar from 10 am until 2 pm. Celebrations will continue on Saturday, August 15, with a live DJ and a wine bar, hosted in partnership with Avaline, from 10 am until 6 pm.
