After 45 Years, Fletcher’s Pizza Announces Closure

After 45 years, the locally owned pizza joint will close on Sunday, April 2.

In a social media post, they shared, “It’s with a heavy heart that the Fletcher’s family is announcing today we are retiring from the restaurant business. As many of you know we have three generations of blood, sweat, and tears in this business, but as of today we are announcing that Fletcher’s Pizza will have its final day on April 2nd.”

They continued, “We can’t express how much these last 45 years have meant to our family, or how hard this decision has been for us. We understand this will be hard on the community but we ask that you do your best to understand and support us in our decision. We don’t know what the future holds for us, but we are looking forward to more time as a family and some much deserved rest.”

Ahead of announcing the closure of the restaurant, they shared on social media, their mother had died. Sharing, “Today we lost the Matriarch of our family … As you all may remember she always had a smile on her face! She was loved by many and will be greatly missed … Rest in Peace Mom we love you!”
