Katherine Regg Mills, age 82, passed away July 21, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Katherine created a loving and welcoming home for family, friends, and even strangers.
She loved to decorate the house for EVERY holiday, always prepared to host loved ones and friends. She was very creative and had a keen mind for figuring out how to fix old things and make them new again.
Katherine enjoyed going to yard sales and estate sales with friends, antiquing, traveling, and listening to Elvis. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, especially at Christmas, but really all year round.
She was active in her church, regularly attending Sunday School and singing in the choir during services. Above all, Katherine loved her family. She loved playing games and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Henry Mills, Sr.; father, Albert E. Regg, Sr.; mother, Viola Regg (Toots); siblings, Albert Regg, Jr., Mary Evelyn Regg Binkley, and Sara Elizabeth Regg.
She is survived by her children, Ike Mills and Lee Ann (Mills) Whitworth; grandchildren, Brandon Eley, Ann Katherine (Eley) Taylor, Emma Mills, and Adam Mills; great-grandchildren, Henry Vaughn Taylor, Lucy Katherine Taylor, and Josey Lee Taylor; sister, Sherrie Regg Everett.
Visitation will be at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home Sunday, July 27th, from 4-8pm and Monday, July 28th, from 10am until the time of service at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
