September 17, 2024 – A 6th grade student at Dupont Tyler Middle School was arrested today by the Rapid School Safety Team after making threats against the school.
The 11-year-old is charged with making a threat of mass violence.
Threats against schools, special events and businesses are taken very seriously by the MNPD. Those responsible, once identified, will be prosecuted.
