18-Year-Old Suspected in Road Rage Shooting Arrested

February 22, 2025 – An 18-year-old man suspected in the road rage shooting of a stranger on Nolensville Pike on Saturday morning, February 8, has been arrested.

Specialized Investigations Division TITANS detectives apprehended Ahmed Falah of Nashville after he fled from an attempted traffic stop in his Infiniti sedan. A spike strip was used to deflate the tires at Tusculum Road and Nolensville Pike. Falah bailed from the car in the 400 block of Brewer Drive and was apprehended after a foot chase in the 5300 block of Nolensville Pike. A nine-millimeter pistol was recovered from his car.

Falah is accused of shooting from his Infiniti into a Toyota Yaris car when the two vehicles were in the 4000 block of Nolensville Pike just after 11 a.m. on February 8. The 26-year-old passenger in the Yaris suffered a gunshot wound to his knee. The female driver was not injured. The parties had exchanged words on the roadway just prior to the shooting.

Falah is charged with aggravated assault, evading arrest and driving without a license. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $54,500 bond.
